Hi All, after a 30 year break from photography I have just invested in a used KX, here is hoping that I chose well! My last SLR was a Prakitca MTL3 . There is a 'slight' difference between the two!

Well I'm totally new to photography bar the last few months. I also went for the K-x after reading many reviews and have so far found it to be a great DSLR. There are others on PU who have the K-x and rate it highly. Hope you enjoy the return and a warm welcome back.

It's very likely that his English is better than some of ours Welcome f248. I'm almost certain your English is better than our Spanish, even those of us who live here.
Welcome F!
You might take a look at your signature, though - there's no such thing as a DA 18-50.
Maybe an 18-55, or 16-50.
Is the Spanish for leopard, leopardo, by any chance?

The difference is like chalk and cheese! The Kx produces fantastic pictures and the high ISO quality is superb (better than my K7!)Hi All, after a 30 year break from photography I have just invested in a used KX, here is hoping that I chose well! Thanks Folks, it is reassuring to know that weeks of reading reviews paid off. The real clincher was when I picked I up, it just felt right. Hopefully I will get some images posted, but remember I am but a beginner! (again)

We were all beginners once and there's certainly a lot to take in. Don't worry, we'd love to see your images as you go along the path!
Best regards, John

Seems that you can but as this is a Pentax related forum Sony NEX photos aren't always welcomed unless they have a Pentax connection.
