IE7 users might think of upgrading to IE8, which is considerably faster.

Get firefox!! much faster, less viruses, more reliable and it wipes the floor with IE in every other way to

yup that to really it has everything!!!! and if it aint got it as standard download a add on for it and give it the extra features you want.
its skinable and pretty much customiseable in every way.

Everyone should give it a try

I actually use IE8 and Firefox, but the former does tend to be more compatible with some websites. Therefore I use both for different purposes.

However, to be fair, don't forget that there are many users out there that are not very computer-orientated and they will not have thought of changing from the IE that came installed on their machines. For those users, upgrading to IE8 from the Microsoft website will be of benefit.

I did try Opera, but didn't like it, far too flashy and not any quicker on my PC. Ask my son Michael though and he is a great Opera fan!

Firefox just needs occasional plugins with some sites but it tells you this when you encounter them and gives a easy way to download them.
It is true that allot of people are unaware other browsers even exist.

I always recommend firefox to others and install it as standard with any PC builds I do or reinstall OS on.

I work across all browsers (due to web design work) and I prefer firefox as standard.

Just my opinion
