Hand strap but not a neck strap

I got one of these for my Kx. Its very good for general walk-around, and I've used it for hours at a time, without needing the usual vice-like grip on the camera.
I have very small hands, so this works for me better than a large battery grip - not that there is one for the Kx anyway, but its important to consider what suits one person won't necessarily suit another!
I did rethread the strap before fitting from one side to the other, so I could also have the standard Pentax shoulder strap at the same time. The result is something that has a hand grip, shoulder strap, and tripod mount all at the same time - I often leave the QR plate on it as well)
If the mods will excuse a photo taken without a pentax (its a Samsung...phone... sorry) :

Oh - just remembered why I had to do this, its because the default threading of the strap blocks the battery door on the Kx!

Flossie, if I didn't know any better I'd swear that southshore is still lost because no one's defending it. Ock.

Thanks for the tips, your grip strap looks pretty much what I'm looking for, not something that covers the wrist, but keeps your hand securely on the camera. Nice tidbit about the battery door too, cheers!

It's a photo of Pentax equipment so it's fine - how else would those of us without multiple bodies post our lovely Pentax gear pictures?
