Many thanks to Prieni for a stimulating competition.

Congratulations to all who entered, I really liked Darkmunk's entry - very rare to find water that still in a coastal marina.

Thanks for the swift judging Ralf!

Sorry you hated my entry I did consider a tight crop again but I didn't want to just replicate the flickr shot. It was all a bit more fiddly not being able to use flash, it had to be at a certain angle to use natural light without reflections.

Well Tim, I can't let that stand without comment
It's a great shot, I only think that there is a better shot in there (as I tried to bring out in my crop suggestion of your shot).

Well done Hyram and thanks to Prieni for the swift posting of the results.

Must be a dimly lit kitchen, though, even at f22 you don't need a lot of light to overexpose at 30 s?
Yeah its lit by one compact flourescent lamp with a opaque diffuser and it isn't very bright.

where are all the knobs on this cooker gone?
We have had to take them off cause my eldest son, (who wakes before we do) turned them on when a pan was left on the ring with a palstic spoon in it. We woke up to a house full of black smoke we swiftly removed them.

Its an old house with no isolator to cut the power

Paul, I thought that kids might be the answer to the question. You may loose one knob or two, but all of them is unlikely.

Thank you Judge.....special congrats to Hyram.

I had my ghost stand in my frame for 15 of my 30 secs.....if I had of realized that ghost did dishes(pnjmcc Washed Up)....I would left her in the frame for as long as it took!!

Had a ton of fun showing off my camera to my daughter in law...while she played ghost!

Great shots, and well judged Ralf - congrats to all.

I'd have loved to have had an entry in this too - no excuses, didn't get around to it.
