I've just managed to win a brand new K-r in original packaging for only £8.04. I am so pleased! They had amazing colour combinations but I went fro the tasteful black and white option.

Slightly concerned though that the Korean seller only having 99.4% feedback

I'm sorry for p'ing on your bonfire, but I cannot understand the logic behind ANYthing disposable, we do not have infinite resources on the planet and EVERYthing should be built to last. We cannot afford to waste things in the way we currently do. A fine example of this is the historical lenses we all use that are still in perfect working order after sometimes more than 30 years.
Sorry if I sound a bit high and mighty but that is the way I feel, I hate waste!

Agreed Steve - especially with something like a digital camera which is inherently re-usable, and the designer will have to make it one use. Very odd.

I absolutely agree with you - my comment was totally tongue in cheek.
I have many arguments with the local council over their ideas of "recycling" which is anything but.

It's not odd. Sadly it's all about putting profit before anything else.

Fair comment Karl. What these people are not thinking is that if they make their profit it will be to no avail if they have destroyed the planet doing so.
