Well, we had a lovely day at Eton Dorney for the Canoe Sprint heats on Monday with the polish being added by the friendly and efficient staff and sheer slickness of the organisation - not even a queue for the park and ride! Took my K5 with Sigma 17-70 and never even asked about a camera by security - have not reviewed the photos yet, but hopefully a few decent ones!

When I need to carry "sensitive" equipment, I put it in a backpack hanging in the back of my wife's wheelchair. People are so scared of discrimination lawsuits that it never gets checked. So, go in with a wheelchair.
