Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

In addition to the others already mentioned, I think PaulyRichard and Prieni both have very distinctive styles.

I agree with Tim on that one.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Had the same type of conversation with the course tutor today.
I used to have style(and money & hair etc.) just trying to get the occasional good shot now.
I also agree with the comments about the talented people who post there shots on the forum.

Gary Hickin is one whose work immediately jumped to my mind when this topic came up. I can't believe no-ones mentioned him yet! (Typical Tim did whilst I was writing!)
His still life's have a very distinct style that it seems others may have tried to mimic - without quite getting the same look.
Looking at his Portfolio just now thoughI find his latest entry is very different, and still out classes my work
To me they're all very artistic images - clearly an artist, but looking back he has at least 2 styles.

I was thinking of Gary (inter alia) when I mentioned the photographers who regularly exhibit in the Gallery, Mike. His work is extraordinary as well as distinctive and I'm sure not as well known as it should be. Gary Hickin is one whose work immediately jumped to my mind when this topic came up. I should also name Axel from Germany, Nezih, from Turkey and Giulio from Italy as well as out own Timbo. The trouble with doing this however, is that I'm bound to have omitted someone.
Best wishes,
Andrew
