Guess a trip to the recycling dump is coming up next week.

Pentax K-5 with D-GB4 Grip, to many lenses to mention by now (serious LBA by now), TC's, Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW, Manfrotto 028 & Redsnapper RS-283 with various Heads plus various Camera Clamps (I collect them). Pentax AF 360FGZ, Pentax AF 240FT, several Metz 45 CT-1 & 5 with stands and 'Blow Up' Soft Boxes, Flash Triggers, and various Macro gear.

Plastic???? You got to be kidding. How are we Canadians going to find plastic?
Did you take into account this side of the globe, where we live in Igloo, have 60 below weather.
Do any of you know what happens to plastic after 40 below?
It turn brittel and crack and becomes no more!
Here is a picture I took two day ago of my spring, where we carry our water from.
Now what am I going to do?!

Yes...But they are only for exporting, made in heated factories...shipped in heated trucks..I have a plastic Canadian canoe so there must be some there somewhere

I believe the components for the Toyota Prius batteries are mined in Canada and that added to all the other globally sourced stuff that's in it make it decidedly un-green.
Living in the 'Second City of the Empire' where we used to make big things like railway locomotives and ships, I notice that the only things on Glasgow docks are piles of plastic garbage, which is shipped to China to make fleece jackets that probably end up back here via Canada.
