I would far rather people entered these competitions than sat on the sidelines talking about it

The Fortnightly Competition is not an easy one to enter, since most of us have jobs to go to and very little spare time for whatever reasons.

We have always tried to encourage entries in the past rather than be negative about those who have made the effort, even if we are not inspired by their entries.

Fair enough James but it might be better to lead from the front - enter first and then try to rally the troops.

Oh now come on - competitions are good for us all.

I only entered this one for fun as I had a pic that fitted . It certainly wasn't set up for the Comp - it was grabbed after making lunch on a vehicle that was travelling at 50+mph down a motorway .

I know what's bad in my pic - but I think actually getting it was an achievement since I couldn't use the K-x , and I had to brace myself against the sharp edge of the door into the kitchen area .

This screamed for a pic to be taken - it was an opportunity that I'll never have again and the memory of it is fun

I think we all saw that was your intention James but Hyram has hit the nail on the head. Don't beat yourself up over it - but I think you need to enter!

I for one am impressed, I'd like to see a bigger size I'm not totally convinced on the sharpness but good work. And as far as I know you can merge two photographs provided they were both taken in the allowed days.

An interesting image, how was it done James :

Is it a strawberry being attacked by cream squirted out of a water pistol :
