I think this is a very special photo indeed, one which I have viewed many times. It is a fascinating shot with a definite surreal quality. The positioning of the elements couldn't be better, every little detail seems just right and the tonal range looks terrific. One of the best photos I have seen on this site.

Excellent, love the touch of the surreal. Reminds me of Dr O's boy with fish pic in that way. Perhaps we should hold a comp - kids with weird pets
