Went to see the Thomas Struth exhibition in the Whitechapel Gallery on Sunday and, while I was in the area, took the opportunity to take some snaps around Shoreditch. C&C welcome - I'm pretty new to DSLR shooting (having graduated from micro-4/3) so lots to learn!

All shot on a K7 with a mix of the 18-135mm and 31mm Limited lenses

I really like 2 and 3. The colours, reflections and layers in 2 appeal, getting a bit Saul Leiter. 3 is almost from another age apart from the shiny bollard and Mickey and Minnie to bring you back to now(ish). Shame you didn't do 3 with the 31mm, (sorry, I hate this kind of comment) , I'd love to see it slightly punchier and sharper.

Thanks!
Funny you mention using the 31mm for shot 3. I was actually experimenting by keeping the 18-135 at about 70mm to see how useful I would find that focal length. The answer was "surprisingly useful" so the only question now is whether to go for the 70 or the 77!

3 is very nice, but a great set.

Two and three stand out as excellent shots. "Can't think of a title" is a surreal mix of colours and images.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

2 is very interesting Perhaps something along the lines of 'Fallen angel', or 'RTA reflections'.

thanks for the comments everyone. funny thing about No2 was that my first reaction was "how do I shoot the dummy without the reflection?". took a while to realise that the reflection might add to it

No 2 is excellent: "Suggestions welcome!" seems a good title to me!

Very nice set indeed. My favourite by far is #2. It doesn't need a title, it speaks for itself!

Another vote for number 2. A great example of seeing things with a different eye.

Is on the TV (the house not your photo), just watching it on Yesterday, the Supersizers go Restoration . It's their pad. So it gets rented out as a TV set by the looks of it. No wonder it isn't done up.

Seeing No. 2 made me think of a new take on "Resusci Annie" .
Nice collection - I love No. 3 which could have looked nice in b/w.
