So Spring has turned to Winter giving Summer a miss and the country is in turmoil.

I think this is when the legend predicts the return of King Arthur.

I wonder if he'll get an ASBO for carrying a sword in public?

No he won't, but he may be Tasered if he changed the sword for a White Stick

No snow here. Bitterly cold, but dry and sunny.

On Friday after not getting to work I spent an hour just getting the car out of our street - built up quite a sweat digging up what felt like half the surface area of the road we went to Filey, Scarborough and York for the weekend - gale force winds so bad it would spill drinks in the caravan - I'll be glad to sleep in a bed that does not rock all night as a result of the wind

Very cold, very windy but no snow of note until we got home tonight and the shovel came out again and spent over an hour digging my way back in to the drive

Ah well I will just have to sample some of the beers we brought home from Yorkshire

Photo's to follow in a few days or so if any don't have wind induced camera shake

'Wold Gold' to start with
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

What's that strange yellow object in the sky? I vaguely remember seeing it last year.

Well, with the talk of snow & ice and digging out the driveway: it's autumn here and we have a 30 deg Celcius day to enjoy! Our winter never gets below 10 deg C...

Weather much brighter today, a lighter shade of grey and only an occasional hint of snowflakes. Defintely cycling weather now the wind has dropped so used the bicycle to go to the gym. Feel so invigorated although I don't usually like my fresh air all at once
