We know Ken - it was commented on yesterday.
My sound engineer son prefers the 22nd though - using the American notation that is. They always use more twos than ones in a test.

I didn't have anything to test but when I put my hearing aids in Mrs Snap shouted, "ARE YOU RECEIVING ME NOW"! :

Well, as it is now well into the run-up to Christmas I have already eaten turkey twice and have two more meals booked next week.

And every time I have a Christmas dinner I wonder why we don't have turkey the whole year?

Yum.

Sustainable supply. Maybe?

turkey is available all year, and there would be more available if there was a demand for it.

I did roast turkey and all the trimmings for my in-laws golden wedding, which was in August. My father-in-law loved Christmas dinner but ma-in-law never cooked it.

I have BBQed turkey too. A couple of years ago we had a BBQed turkey for Christmas dinner, but I have done one in the summer too.

What would you have for Christmas dinner if you ate turkey all year? Goose?

We're having a small turkey and a rib of beef this year on Boxing Day. Probably duck breasts for two on Christmas Day.

I make turkey curry on many occassions - almost weekly - many different curries with turkey

It is a great meat for my better half and her diet and it is known for its properties for helping with physical training which is my interest

Christmas dinner, Goose.

You have to remember a turkey is for life not just Christmas...

....or was that something else?

Batman movie, delivered curry, beer and a house to myself...

....bliss...

"Bootiful" as the man from London who tried to be from Norfolk said. Being a veggie I guess it`s bacteria poo for me! Anyone got their sprouts on yet? Don`t they just take weeks to cook to a pulp.

Ah, the good old days. When veg wasn't cooked until it had turned entirely to liquid!

Had a week in hospital in January 2008. I swear that the sprouts were left over from Christmas. I can`t work out how so much mush can still retain shape but explode into goo once in the mouth. It confirmed everything I`d heard about hospital food being based on fact!
Enjoy life
