Shouldn't we be voting on TopLipBook? And if there isn't such a thing, let's start it now.

Even if we only sell it for a few million rather than a few billion I'll be happy!

Had to think about that one - then I realised you are talking football.

Not a popular topic here I think. Still they did well, and no doubt half of Glasgow went bananas last night.

It's Friday and no one has mentioned beer.

Has the Yorkshire contingent taken a vow of abstinence?

Sorry to hear that Dave. Hope Mrs Dave is feeling better soon.
Better drink that beer and drown your sorrows.

No plans for the weekend here. More's the pity.

There is some sort of drilling rig near the bay so weather permitting will see if I can get a photograph. Looks like a ship standing on legs.

Just booked flights to Liverpool for a football game in Jan. Looking forward to wandering around with my camera in a new city snapping away too.

Party was OK,good beer, but left early and went for a curry.

It's always awkward when you get invited to a do, realise you only know, maybe, six people in a crowd of sixty or so. Next time we'll turn the invite down and just go for a drink with those six!

You knew as many as six? Last party we went to we knew the hosts, and my son and daughter-in-law. My son spent the evening propping up the bar with my husband, my daughter-in-law was off having a great time - it was her parent's party so she knew everyone. No one spoke to me, and they looked at me as an intruder when I tried to talk to people so I gave up and that left me wondering how much drink his nibs was going to consume and soon we could leave without causing offence. I really felt sorry for my son - he had to stay to the bitter end.

The one before that we knew just the hosts, and never saw them all evening.

Shan't be bothering with the next invite.
