No funny links here either, I'd check out your anti virus software, perhaps run a scan.

It seems that somewhere along the line I've contracted a 'free' plugin for FF!
It's called 'CouponDropDown' and is a persistent little bu****!
I've tried all the normal ways to locate it but it's well and truly hidden, looks like a fresh install of 7 may be called for.

OH you poor thing HG
Yup a fresh re-install is an excellent idea and you'd better check for other nasties too

Congrats from me too Dave.
Managed not to irradiate our friend. She was absolutely adamant that her surgeon had advised her to totally avoid iPads/iPhones and the like.
So used the 2x3 screen and the ladies were cooing nicely.
I pointed out that we were sitting next to a credit card reader which was wifi connected but that was disregarded as it wasn't an 'iSomething'. As they say 'nowt as queer as folk'

It's only been 6 months and I suppose has she has had a 'close shave' and not wanting to shake off her mortal coils just yet she's naturally a 'bit' wary.
Can't blame her for that, but I'd have thought CE testing/marking would suggest that both are safe within reasonable distances. Besides there are PMR/Emergency Service/Radio Amateur radios all blasting out far more watts and no end of mobile phones(albeit in lower frequency bands) that she must have come in contact with and arn't apparently included in the 'avoid' list. So it does seem a bit over cautious on the part of the surgeon. Who knows, if it was me I'd avoid them also.

I can understand her fears, but it is a shame her doctor didn't make things clearer to her.
My Ma-in-law had a pacemaker fitted way back and never had a problem with our wifi, or that of my sister-in-law. She used to love sitting surfing the net on one of his nib's old laptops.
Tbh in never occurred to us that it might be dangerous. The only thing she was told was not to go through security gates at airports!

Perhaps the surgeon has had the same problems I've had trying to get photos/pdfs from my PC to my wifes iPad.

Oh God how I hate Microsoft two years worth of photos 7 years of other data which is proving near impossible to transfer to my expensive new monster PC, simply because MS has effectively removed windows explorer from W7. I could weep
