Great to hear HG - fantastic race and Happy Birthday Sir Frank - well done Lewis.............any other driver would have been docked to 10th on the grid !! Which as Eddie Jordan said would have been fair.

I see Schuey is now blaming everyone else again - time for a new driver in the Mercedes team as well as Ferarri.

And a Lotus on the podium just puts icing on my cake

M Schumacher, needs to remember he is now not driving one of the red cars, which in the past, was the get out of jail free card.

Very good race though.

Well deserved congratulations to Williams, the team that has given a start to many new F1 drivers on their road to success.

Take care.

Schumi got his just rewards. Bruno Senna behaved very maturely in his interview I thought.

A shame the celebrations were cut short by that shocking fire. I do hope all those injured by it make a full and swift recovery.

OK, so this is typed on my new wireless keyboard.

After re-doing the kitchen we now have a nice new computer cabinet, which ment recasing the PC and buying a wireless desk set.

It's all a lot tidier, or it will be when I have drilled a hole for the monitor cables to come through.

That's another new toy, I now have a 19" Samsung Monitor/Tv, great picture and good sound plus it looks great.

Smug mode off!

You have a computer in your kitchen?
I can only assume that's so you can be on PU without having to walk for a beer!

Got it in one..

...Actual reason is so I can surf while the boss watches TV in the room next to the Kitchen. We can talk through the open door and I can follow things by listening.

It is almost too good to be true.
Tomorrow is a holiday here, and we are promised good weather. Not hot, not even warm, maximum a miserable 14C in the south which means about 12C here, but dry and sunny, which after the last few weeks I shall welcome! Last holiday was April 30th and that was a fantastic day. Next one is 28 May. Hopefully we'll get hot and sunny for that one as it is our last until Christmas.

On a down note the government has just announced a speed up in the change in retirement age, which means I don't get my pension until I am 66.5, which is a bummer as all our pension calculations were based on 65. His Nibs has to work a month longer next year too.

Ah well I shall enjoy tomorrow anyway

The visitors, sis in law and neice have left to return to Aberdeen, the neice still on a high after meeting Westlife, photos with them etc. It only seems like 5 minutes since we were at her wedding in March. She won the "Bride of the Week" in her local paper and the boys in the group signed her copy of the newspaper for her. It's my nephews (her brother's) wedding in July so train tickets already booked for another mini break in Aberdeen, of course Auntie Liz will need another outfit, oh the expense of it all
Regards
Stan

Only another 40 years to go then! Never mind, the K-3 will be out by then.
