OK Curly of Bromborough

you are indeed lucky Some folk lost nice thick wavy hair and got thin straight stuff

Just think your curls will help rejuvenate you - well in other folks' eyes -- WE know you are just a youngster .
let the education continue

Hey Curly of Bromborough

I found that the original regrowth of hair was indeed curly, wavy, thin etc but mine didn't take long to get back to normal (less than a month I think) - hopefully yours will too.

At least now the chemo has stopped you will start to feel more like a youngster again

Thanks Stuey - I certainly prefer the new medication as all it does as a side effect is make me very fatigued and have lots of hot flushes ( small price ).The steroids mean my appetite is good and my Zoledronic Acid infusion each month stops my bones from becoming brittle apparently.

As I`m not ill - all this is by the by and whilst not quite at youngster stage I can`t wait for my week in Widemouth with the munchkins and their mummies !!!

Oops, just realised I may have got the ratio the wrong way around for the G&T!

Enjoy the new hair Tony, remember as a bloke any hair that's on your head once past 40 is a bonus.

From one who's hair's thinning on top but sprouting where it shouldn't be.
Cheers, HG

Why does hair move from the top of your head to your nose and ears?

Must be something to do with gravity. Or in the cases of most people here, specific gravity!

Er right Alan - thanks for that ! I think.

The only reason the beard is there is `cos my face is rather tender and I can only shave the top lip and side without getting a rash or cuts depending on electric or blade shaving.

No doubt the munchkins will have something to say come June so we`ll see.....
