Fortunatley I changed over to navigation, a whole lot easier, very few things to remember, but it is surprising how quickly "stuff" surfaces when mentioned casually in converstion

I'm off to Yorkshire this weekend to visit the in-laws, (outlaws are wanted).

I am planning to wander around Batley and Dewsbury to do some street photography. And eat fish and chips, and go to a car boot sale at Dewsbury Rams RFC. I might even pay a visit to Morrisons,(other supermarkets are available), and see if they have any scotch pies, haven't had one for years.

One horse power = 746 watts. I've got a mark on my slide rule for that.

No - those are pied. Though they may form the filling of the pie of course.

In my ignorance I had to Google Scotch Pie .

No, mutton pies.

Hard to really say what the grey greasy filing might really be, probably grey horses.

Good ones are still pretty tasty though.

Greggs sell one filled with macaroni cheese.

not for gourmets

Of course Scotland takes pride in being the only country where you can get a Scotch pie (which is already about 90% fat) deep fried.

With a deep fried Mars bar for dessert!
