Another pointless thread

I am currently driving, (I mean I drive it occasionally, I can't type while I'm driving :shock, a ....wait for it...rose pink Daihatsu Sirion. Basically a tin can with four wheels and an engine which would be hard pushed to win a race against my lawnmower. But it is very very reliable and has passed it's MOT first time every year for the past 5 years. But I still hate it with a vengance.

Our central heating is all copper, and wide bore at that! (all that piping must be worth a fortune nowadays :shock.
It still loses pressure regularly, even when it isn't leaking like a sieve.

The only car we ever bought new was a Mistubishi Spacewagon. Ideal with the kids but a lot of trouble maintenance wise. It failed it's MOT when it was just 4 years old, having rusted through. We got seriously mad at the garage - where it had been serviced regularly and they gave, yes gave me a 2 year old Lancer. That car was fantastic and lasted for nearly 20 years before repairs would have cost more than the car was worth. It didn't go back to the Mitsubishi garage for servicing though.

Now I drive a Renault Kangoo which is a nightmare in winter weather. I'm hoping we don't get the promised cold snowy winter.

I've always had the suspicion that some things we buy have a "time chip" built in to them. It seems that they always go wrong the day after the warranty or guarantee runs out!

Ahh, I see page 600 is looming. Amazing how the post rate increases when we get close to a big number.

(Not that I would participate in such 'cheating').

Coffee and cake is the Dutch tradition. Followed by a beer or 15 and jenever or 10 as chasers .

Me? I'll enjoy a nice Merlot I hope. And the coffee and cake .

Looks like the sun is going to shine on me .

Did I miss anything?

I've just had a nice quiet evening without the boss, she's out on a works do.

Just the cat, a bottle or 2 of Theakston's finest myself and a DVD.

Bliss.
Cheers, HG

K110+DA40, K200+DA35, K3 and a bag of lenses, bodies and other bits.

Mustn't forget the Zenits, or folders, or...

PPG entries.
