But even worse on the weekend is a spotty boy scout who insists on helping you with your packing and just throws everything in a bag and then expects payment!

Ah yes scout packing...

...drop eggs in bag first followed by tin cans and bag of potatos.

I'd like to put the scout in first and then drop...

Express checkout, Young man in front with a packet of sweets. 90P and out comes the credit card which was declined by the system. Frantic search in pockets for change but could only muster up 45P. Asked for the card to be re-tried. I moved to another checkout but realy wish I has stayed just to see the outcome.

You'll have to recommend she gets a Nikon now. If she got a Pentax and signed up here, imagine the trouble you'd be in.

Just had a week of the grandson moving house, well us moving the grandson really! So we went to an Indian restaurant for a celebratory "we got it done" meal. The question is, are popadoms addictive?

I'm going for my 'flu jab today. It seems to be getting done earlier each year. Is this age related.

Popadoms only become addictive after eating the first one otherwise they are perfectly safe.

I'm in mourning.

I really thought Ireland could go all the way. Wales beat them on the day.

Ach well.

Poor His Nibs.
We've only had highlights of matches on telly until today when he finally got to watch the rugby live on Dutch TV and England lost. He is not a happy bunny today.

They didn't show Wales Ireland live, only the highlights.

I wonder if he'll get up to watch Wales France next week, or if a lie-in will be a more attractive option .
