But back to knocking Ikea (which is good fun). I'm still doing the bathroom, but bought all the units from a company called Paramount Bathrooms. Absolutely superb quality, low price and... They are already assembled! Woo Hoo! Strongly recommended.

And unlike others I am absolutely, completely, totally, 100% in charge of the project. She merely 'suggests' things I ought to do and 'questions' me if she thinks I may be on the wrong track.

(There is a wonderful quote by Scott Adams:

In the future women will run the world for two reasons:
1. They already do
2. Who's going to stop them?

I wonder why women complain about the way men turn out, when it was women that brought them up.

Ummm

They may have brought them up - but it was the men that started ignoring the good advice that women handed out to them

I love women's use of language. For example,

"You might want to think about changing that shirt"
"Is that what you're wearing?"
or the simple confused look

All mean the same thing - go and change now and keep changing until I decide you look OK!

(Woo! Page 550. Not as exciting as page 500 though.)

ach, it's fine when you do your own ironing but she hides your shirts in the cupboard (I found 5-6 I haven't seen for months hiding) - and all because I lost a particular colour of jumper. Found teh bright red, electric blue, pale blue, mustard yellow, vivid orange, beige, three different greys, two different browns and four turtlenecks but not the black one I was searching for. I hadn't put it away last time. That'll remind me to search more frequently

And women never do the things they ought to.

Like check tyre pressures and wonder why you have to replace seven tyres in a year!

"But won't the garage have put the correct pressure in them?"

It's an Audi A6. 225/50 R17s.

They are meant to be at 40psi. Funny enough they keep bursting when they're being driven at 25psi!
