At least the Norwegian Broadcastng Corporation will be in the Guinnes Book of Records wit their 134 hour long non-stop TV broadcast from Hurtigruten.
Does anyone know what the record is for longest topic is in the guineas book of records?

Just about to start a 3 hour drive down the center of Wales, halfway there is a known area for Red Kites. Have done this drive a few times and always spotted the birds, never yet got a good shot though
Maybe this time; have set up the K20 in advance, Da55-300, centre weighted, iso 200, continuous af, Hi drive.

I saw someone trying this earlier, at least I hope that's why they were poking one of those camo-finish lenses from the window of a Peugeot in the middle of nowhere! I hadn't the heart to tell them that I've seen kites come close enough for a 50mm lens, but never have a camera in hand at the time!

We almost came to a standstill last week on a French motorway under similar conditions.
I'll say this for our cousins across the channel, they're much better drivers on fast roads than some of the idiots we have here. in all the miles we covered on the motorways we didn't see one accident, yet here only ten minutes of the ferry we were in standing traffic on the A64 dual carriage way.
Seems two cars had had a little shunt and the police closed the road off to investigate!!!
Oh, and the M62 was closed due to sand on the road, that and the lorry carrying it parked through the central barrier!
Lovely British roads...

I must go down to the beach tonight
To the lonely sea and the sky
I've left my vest and socks there
I wonder if they're dry

The credit for that ditty belongs (I believe) to the late Spike Milligan.
The following ditty is by ??(unknown to me)
The God of War rode out one day upon a handsome filly
I'm Thor he cried
His horse replied
You forgot you Thaddle Thilly
