I've just finished a bottle of Soave. I started it last night but got called out to babysitting duties so that my daughter-in-law could visit her brand new nephew, so I made up for it tonight. Very nice it was too. It went surprisingly well with tonight's Thai.

Four? Impressive Just winding down now, so it might have to a wee dram (or two)of decent malt. Got a bottle of Old Pultenay needs finishing off (got it from the distillery on a tour last year). Once opened it doesn't keep well, you know...

I made a Thai green curry and possibly overdid it on the chillies. I was sweating profusely while eating it but it was good.I've just finished a bottle of Soave. Would have gone very nicely with a bottle of white wine. I swear I have a voucher somewhere for money off a wine order, unless the wife threw it out.

Drinking a lurvly bottle of Savanna cider
I brought some good English cider back with me, but I am rationing myself.Drinking a lurvly bottle of Savanna cider
Haven't tried Savanna though they advertise it here. Maybe I'll have look for it.
Until recently we could only get French Cidre, which is not the same thing at all. Now of course Bulmers is owned by Heineken (along with S&N) so that is available here, but tbh I'd rather do without cider than drink that.

French cidre is nice but can be quite strong. We had crepes and cidre in Toulouse at lunchtime just before flying back to the UK.

Maybe you should watch the ESC - lots of languages on there.
I'm watching The Closer on Dutch TV. Then I'll watch last night's Later. Definitely no singing Europeans for me.
