Heres a thought - will the nursing homes of the 2020's play 60s rock or will they still be trotting out Vera Lynn

It went up 1p here when the 1p duty cut was announced.Has anyone noted the 1p drop in fuel cost has been replaced by a 2p increase, or is this a local phenomenon
If they really want to make a difference then the cut needs to be the order of 50p/l.

Libya innit. Or so they claim, but I bet the oil companies make record profits again this year .
I've lost count of the price rises here, and they never ever cut duty here it seems.
The price around me varies from 1.47 GBP/l to 1.53 GBP/l at current exchange rates.
We will fill the car up with company paid petrol on Thursday before getting the ferry, just to save a few pounds .

First time rendering a 1080p video slide-show and my PC is managing 25 frames per second! That is real time rendering of 2 megapixel video! I didn't think it would be that fast.
I don't think it could play it back at the same time though

When I were at school we were taught that petrol was a waste product from the Petro/Chemical industry, but then the mini (cars and skirts) was only just born and Cliff Richard was new in the top ten.
I digress - petrol was 4s 10d (roughly 24p) and I was earning £360 per year. I wouldn't like to comment further on the inflation of either.

Just a youngster Bernard - I used to get a can for 3/6d gallon -(17 1/2p) and I earned 2/3 3/4d per hour as a waiter - ( 11 1/4 p ) - Embassy tipped were 3/6d for 20 and if you were feeling flush you had a Guinness at 1/6d instead of a pint at 1/1d

Remember that you're not allowed a petrol can on the boat!
