Patchwork Pate of Wales did a squirrel pate a couple of years ago - I had to try it as they were giving a donation to the Red Squirrel preservation society........................Can`t say I was overly impressed - really seemed like their chicken liver pate to us - possibly spit roasted or casseroled they say it is a cross between lamb & duck ( Luck ? or Damb ? ) - anyway - my lad is safe ok ?

Cooper`s Entrecote anyone ?????????

Does "squirrel away" have a French equivalent?

I can never understand banks using a squirrel in their logo. Ours seems to guarantee a supply of nuts by burying so many of the things that random digging will inevitably turn a few up, rather than the legend that they remember where they buried the things. I think I'd rather a bank had more of an idea where it had put my money!

Must have another go at some photos of ours, main problem is shooting through two layers of glass, one of which is pre-float glass so adds all sorts of weird distortions and colour casts. If I try to open the front door and poke a lens out the squirrel inevitably disappears up the nearest tree.

According to Google Translate it's "écureuil loin"

(May not convey the same meaning though!)

I "shoot" Cyril mostly through our double glazed dining-room window - as long as the angle is right, the window clean and the flash off - no probs !

Believe me - if he/she thinks there are nuts available , they will soon come to trust you - honest !!

Why is that? Sainsbury's were doing them until about 14 days ago at 8 for £8

Rapidly going off Tesco's
Back on offer in Sainsbury's 8 x 500ml cans for £8 and can be split with other similar offers.

If you want a healthier drink they had 1 Litre Innocent Pure Fruit Smoothies (2 of your 5 a day) at 2 for £4.... Tescos are 2 for £5

Funny how you have Gaymers and Bulmers both in the cider trade. Or at least it's always struck me as being unusual. I'd wonder if both names have similar roots?
