IT'S OFFICIAL!!!
According to a newspaper today, 1 pint of beer or 1 glass of wine slows down dementia, and lowers the risk of developing it by 33 percent!

Plus;
Spirits will thin your blood and make it easier for your heart to pump it round your system.
I also heard that large amount of alcohol can pickle your liver, and we all know that pickling things preserves them

It's no good I can't keep quiet .
I love hot food - Mexican, Tex Mex, Thai. Just not Indian style curries.
Forgive my ignorance but how far is Falkirk from Edinburgh?

Pickling is with vinegar, so no preservation with alcohol.Plus;

Well, not directly anyway.
Alcohol > Aldehyde in the liver which is why Methanol is so poisonous. It gets converted into formaldehyde by the liver and kills & preserves you very quickly from the inside out.

With a gallon of petrol at £6 and a gallon of beer at £24 , I`m going to become a "wino" and drink unleaded with a twist of lemon over ice from now on !!!!!!!!!!

If you go there, don't order a starter and a main course unless you are american (or fat for some other reason).
