Never smoked and haven't worked for 26 years .
Well not paid work anyway - raising three sons was definitely hard work .

I smoked for nearly 40 years , cigarettes and pipes and occasionally cigars ( and snuff )- never did me any harm !!!!
11 years later though I must admit my taste buds are honed and my sense of smell enhanced ( although I still love a good leaf/wood bonfire ! )
Let`s face it - if one thing doesn`t get you another will - there`s no health warning on the side of a bus but they can still kill you !!!

I stopped smoking when I broke my foot..
.. the 'bacco was in a locker at work and I was at home..
...I don't miss it and can taste things a whole lot better now.
Unless I have a proper Bradford curry, then I can't taste a thing for days!!

I smoked every time I was on night duty - ie about 4 months every year . Never smoked at ay other time - odd that was .
Yes I have smoked since - when I was under a HUGE amount of strain one year - I finally snapped and went to the base for one dept and pinched some cigarettes out of the Prinicpal Teacher's desk drawer - smoked like a chimney for a few days and never since
