Congratulations on your 1000th Dave.

How about a nice photographic excursion with ma-in-law?

Don't get too drunk before she gets there .

Tomorrow it`s going to snow here in Suffolk. Why? `cos Mrs Cedric and I are talking about getting the kayaks out on the river.

She does not like cameras, something about capturing her soul

Almost over the first night, going back downstairs now to start on the whiskey (Bowmore cask strength, very nice)

I'm an awful grandmother, but not an awful mother-in-law. I never go to my sons homes unless invited, (unlike at least one of their MILs, who not only goes to their house when they are there, but also when they are not :shock I do not outstay my welcome, and cough up cash at a moments notice when required.

However I do not babysit the grandsons unless there is really no alternative. I find them hard going tbh. I don't like children much, and had enough of them with my own three when they were small.

The snow didn`t happen, so a round trip from Cattawade to Willy Lotts house at Flatford was the order of the day. Chucked it down with rain though and apart from the two of us the river was empty. So that meant we had the Bittern all to ourselves LOL.

This is really strange.

Whenever someone opens the fridge door in the Kitchen the television loses its signal and the picture goes.

As soon as they close the door the picture returns.
