I've just taken 2 hours to go 3 miles, not my fault either I've got snow chains on my Smart City Coupe! Stuck lorries, vans and cars everywhere.
My wife is working in Edinburgh today and has to be at the first night of a show she is choreographing, right now the chances of her getting back are looking pretty slim.

Yes, and isn't the iPhone spell checker a wondrous thing, this from my wife: "I had to abandon the car in St Stephens Street, Obama really worried about getting it out of that street"

Well - I really have got fun now
1) 8 ins of solid white stuff in the garden - now have a path to the gate
2) Have had to phone Openreach - a phone cable is hanging down across my garden so even if I could get the Freelander out [ and wanted to ] I couldn't because of this darn cable.
Openreach weren't really interested till I pointed out that if we had problems with one cable what about the other 6 attached to the same pole

we have another 6" or so... it was fun this morning as they hadn't ploughed much
Anyways, no serious issues as expected and another 4" or so should turn up over night. I'll be surprised if my train is late in the morning...
Might go out for a quick drive later to complete the white-out of the back of the car

-4 here - no snow but a very hard frost - I`ll post a pic presently - went for a great walk this afternoon in the sun - no wind but very chilly.
I had the chicken on Sunday as a butty - I think I just overfaced myself after a plate of smoked salmon and homemade bread ! Had some raspberries and blueberries and a drop of Soberano later on !
TT - thanks for the invite - I`m just a bit worried I might have set a precedent here what with me,Jo,Cyril,Cyril`s lads, and half the forum !!

That looks like good fun Brett, it's just a shame that we can't drive that way in the UK.
Too many idiots park their cars ON the road when it snows!
No deep fat fryer TT, not finishing the kitchen then?
Is it going to be a work in progress then?
We'll just have to wait until completion before Tony cooks for us in your new kitchen...
