Grey and -2 here, right now. White stuff due any time apparently .

So TT you tease us - what new toy are you getting tomorrow? And why do the temps have to go up and the sky turn blue?

Off with the dog now before the snow arrives.
Still feels odd that, dog, singular .

Typical - since he got his hands on the *istD I haven`t seen him ! A few of the minor cyrils were around to see Chloe but all very reticent and non-cooperative............................No doubt, like me,too clever to venture out for long............................

There is white stuff falling now, bah. At least me and the dog stayed dry.
Hope it doesn't last too long or my other half could have a horrible journey home.

I just read a news story about a pair of cheeky robbers.
A couple in Utrecht were watching telly. Suddenly the window breaks and two men lean in and grab the telly, and ride off with it on a scooter.
The owner of said telly tried to go after them - but the front door was jammed. It turns out the robbers had tied the front door to a parked car so it wouldn't open.

That`s almost funny Gwyn !

I remember some years ago at my wife`s hotel a couple struggled into reception about 10-45pm with a large cardboard box "containing a tv" and booked a room with the night porter.
They said they were going back to the local Currys as the set was faulty and they had been caught in traffic and missed closing time ! He offered to help but they declined and said goodnight after paying their £32 for the room.
Next morning they left with a cheery smile and a thank-you ------------and the colour tv set from the room in their empty box !!!!

Tony ,

That's similar to how Hospitals used to 'lose' TVs from wards regularly - a couple of Porters in brown warehouse coats would turn up on a ward with a trolley and a couple of TVs on it [ think back a few years - 20 ins TVs were HUGE then ] , tell the Ward staff that there was a problem with theirs and take it away . Downstairs would be a van [ liveried of course ] into which they would load some TVs and they were never seen again

Now of course Porters wear IDs

My husband has been on his way home for nearly 2 and half hours now. Normally it takes him just over an hour. I phoned 20 minutes ago to see where he was - about 10 minutes away on a normal day, but today having had snow we now have ice rain, so driving is definitely not fun.

Well the tinnitus has just about settle down after rediscovering my youth last night, grabbed the best spot front of stage at the Steve Hackett concert, a great combination of new stuff and classic Genesis songs, and it was well worth going to see Nick Beggs playing the Chapman Stick link although I did not realise you could take cameras in . On the way home we had snow blasting in from the sea combined with the strangest lighting storm I have ever seen.

well, it's just damned cold here.... my track should be booked tomorrow so the the Germans can come and learn how to drive sideways

Now, if only Finnair could find my wife's bag, I think things would be pretty good right now...
