Anybody know this story?
(¯`·._.· The Prince of the Land of Pasta ·._.·´¯)
Long ago and far away, there was a Land of Pasta.
And in that land lived a prince who loved pasta.
The lonely prince wanted friends to share his beloved pasta with.
So he went on a journey to search for friends...
From the windy plains to the raging sea.
To the frozen tundra, the adventure continues...
He was aiming for the cursed tip of the Mountain of Fire.
Where an evil dragon held a princess captive.
Holding down the rising earth with his hands.
Leaping over a sea of fire in one bound.
Never fearing, even when touched by the wind of decay.
At last he reached the top of the mountain...
And when he pulled out the legendary Fork in the Stone,
A giant shadow descended from the sky...
But the picture book telling of the prince who saved the captured princess
Was just the dream of a princess sleeping in a tower of thorns...

Earlier than last year then. I was over in October last year and there was very little in. I nearly had to do without Christmas Crackers. Luckily T.J.Max had some.Just returned from Tesco, all the Xmas stock is in ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Time to hibernate I think.

Maybe it's time to plan a shopping foray. Mid to late October sounds about right, maybe in Watford?
We are looking to escape New year this year. I hate fireworks and am just fed up with it all. I'd like warm - he'd liked cheap.

Maybe it's time I pulled my finger out and spruced mine up a bit one damp night.

(¯`·._.· The Prince of the Kingdom of Pasta ·._.·´¯)
Once upon a time, there was a land of pasta.
In that land, there was a prince who liked pasta very much.
Every day, he’d eat pasta again and again.
However, there was only one fork in the land of pasta.
The prince could never invite anyone to eat with him.
No matter how delicious, if he ate alone, he could never enjoy it.
…
The pasta prince said to the pizza princess, “this dragon is..”
-=- Notes -=-
The prince name is “Pasta” because he’s the only one that could eat (one fork)
The princess name is “Pizza”
The dragon, like the prince, wanted a friend.
This story is taken from Gunslinger Girl.
I don’t know the rest of the story because this is all there is.
The … mean that the is a cut in the storyline.
Please help

Our Tesco has a lot of gift/jumbo boxes of chocolate and some mince pies so far, didn't notice anything else Xmas-related today (although they seem to have more Lego than previously).
I have just managed to take some horrifically soft photos with a good lens (SMC K 28mm f3.5) by trying the suggestion I'd heard that if you align the orange numbers the lens becomes a focus-free one. No it doesn't, at least not on digital!

No, really.
Anyway, on the subject of food, the real secret weapon is Courgettes. I knew there was a reason they keep using stealth powers to turn into Marrows...
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

Bears are very sensible creatures. I run a mile from anyone brandishing a courgette too. Once they've given me one they will dump their entire harvest on me, having found out for themselves what a totally useless vegetable it is when one doesn't have bears to frighten off.
