I'm also having a bad day, I went to bed last night thinking the yoghurt I ate tasted weird. I got up and for breakfast had cereal and another yoghurt. It then dawned on me that the milk was off, the cereal tasted yuk and the yoghurt was all lumpy. I felt sick as a parrot
Took a look at the fridge and its knackered so I've spend the whole day trying to buy a new one but to no avail. Seems me and the wife want different things
Still, on the plus side I came across this lovely motor whilst looking for a new campervan
Ohh I want it
Me wanty too.

If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.

I actually think this thread is not pointless enough and is in desperate need of dumbing down.
Unfortunately the controllers of both the BBC and ITV were unavailable so...
Wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble, wibble. Wibble.

I will tell a lil' joke as the thread was not pointless enough. A man was fishing on the ice and sat on a chair. Then suddenly the man noticed that the devil himself came walking towards him. The man first tried to not to notice the devil but the devil kept talking about the weather and all kind of pointless stuff. Then the devil said:Sell me your soul and I will grant you 3 wishes. The man got very scared and thought about running away or sumthin'. The devil kept on telling the man to sell his soul until the man finally agreed. The man wanted first all the money on the world, and got it. Then the man said he wanted all the liquor there is, and got it. The last wish was a tricky one as he couldn't think of something else that he really wanted. Then finally the man said:Give me a couple more bottles of liquor!!
Best regards,
Tobio

Well at the risk of turning this into a jokes thread here's one I received earlier.
For the ladies amongst us
A real man is a woman's best friend. He will
never stand her up and never let her down.
He will reassure her when she feels insecure
and comfort her after a bad day.
He will inspire her to do things she never
thought she could do; to live without fear
and forget regret. He will enable her to
express her deepest emotions and give in to
her most intimate desires. He will make sure
she always feels as though she's the most
beautiful woman in the room and will enable
her to be the most confident, sexy,
seductive, and invincible
No wait... sorry... I'm thinking of wine.
It’s wine that does all that.......
Never mind.
It does bring us back to that most popular of topics in this pointless thread though

I would like to claim some points for that one. When I first met Mrs Oggy in Saudi Arabia, I was heavily into diving. She on the other hand would take a shower because a bath was too deep. She loved pictures of the brightly coloured fish, but would not even paddle in the sea. Over a period I got her into the swimming pool and persuaded her to put her face under the water while standing up. She had great difficulty with a mask and snorkel but we had a bit of a breakthrough when it struck me that as she wore glasses, she needed an optically corrected mask. After that she took to snorkelling and as there was so much to see I think it took her mind off being afraid. Then we went back into the pool and into Scuba. There was no way that she would have managed to do the drills to pass the course, but I reckoned that if we kept shallow, if all went pear-shaped I could simply drag her to the surface. In the end, with about three months before we went home, we spent just short of 1 hour paddling along the reef. Only about 4 metres deep, but so much to see, and for most of the dive there was a turtle swimming just in front of us almost as if he was showing us his reef....He will inspire her to do things she never
thought she could do;...
It took eighteen months and there were times where I could have screamed but I knew that would be the end of it.
I rate that as one of my best achievements.

Nooo, you do not want a VW!
I can't fathom the appeal. They're slow, don't handle properly, tend to catch fire and aren't even much good as a camper (stowing the porta-potty under the kitchen? No thanks!) Plus they are ridiculously expensive new or used.
For the same money you can buy a used Hymer A class which beats a VW in pretty much every department. It'll cruise at 80mph on the Autoroute, has a proper shower, blown air heating, ridiculous amounts of cargo space, and the ability to scare the living daylights out of stroppy people in normal cars.
Apparently.
