His Nibs isn't interested in any of that, thank goodness, though he did watch the cricket re-run yesterday, but real live football? He'll be watching, he can't help himself. Even though he is an Oldham/Man U fan he's secretly hoping for a miracle and Man C to win again. Rather have the blues win than Liverpool. It never went away - repeats of matches from years ago and pundits discussing their top 10 greatest corner kicks of all time.

He'd better get my decking finished first though!
I'm also hoping the weather here improves so I can escape to the garden while he's watching. DUll old days at the moment with the threat of thunder, and cool next week. Flaming June!!!

Gwyn. I was a local league ref for 10yrs. but I am not a fan of pro football. I bumped my television and 3 of the players fell over. Most of them are cheats and prima donas. Over paid children. My opinion for what it's worth.

They handled the snooker championship quite well.
All the contestants, officials etc in a 'bubble' in the venue for a few weeks. Games just the two players and the ref (and cameraman, I assume), nice lack of loud mouthed fans.

I wouldn't shed a single tear if there were NO FOOTBALL OF ANY SORT at all on the tele
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

I actually enjoy watching it, seems like I'm in the minority here!

I wouldn't shed a tear if there was no sport of any sort on TV.
I have really enjoyed the lack of sport over the last few months.
Though I know it would mean son#2 was probably out of a job (he covers cycling and wintersports etc from a helicopter for various TV companies) but plenty of other TV programmes he can do .
I've enjoyed evenings with nothing worth watching on TV too. The Sewing Bee, QI and House through Time have been notable exceptions. His Nibs enjoyed Killing Eve as well.
I do wonder what they will do for the schedule later in the year and next year for all the pre-recorded quizzes like Pointless and the wonderful Only Connect, which would normally be recording now.
Talking of pointless, currently digging over and trying to clear an area of ground elder...

I really enjoyed Grayson Perry’s Art Club, now sadly finished, but featured some wonderful participants in this lockdown show. The guy is a natural presenter with his infectious enthusiasm, I wish it would become a regular. And any evening is complete with Montelbano, young or current, a feast of visual delights (including the stunning Italian actresses!), delightful characters, humour and pathos all mixed up with nicely complex cases.

I'd have love to see it, but I am limited to BBC1,2 and totally useless BBC Prime for British TV. Not even BBC4 any more. Tons of other channels in all sorts of languages, and we could subscribe to Netflix but we don't, mainly because we already have to pay for cable and it probably doesn't add a lot other than expense. I'd happily pay for access to iPlayer or similar though
I would have also enjoyed watching the Bob Ross series again, if only for nice quiet harmless TV with no scenes or language likely to disturb.
Currently enjoying Pier Gynt on Spotify. Haven't listened to it since I was at school!

You need a local satellite TV installer to fit a decent-sized satellite dish and Free-To-Air (FTA) receiver - with the right kit, you should have get a load of the UK channels on the Astra 2 (28E) satellite with no problems (lot's of people in the Low Countries have that sort of setup and it works with few issues)

I spent a lovely day at Wisley, the RHS gardens, with my MX loaded with Ektar, and my K30, K50 macro and K85. Shot a whole roll. Weather was perfect and the vast majority were very good about the social distancing thing. It was the only real day out I've had since mid-March.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Looking forward to the results! I spent a lovely day at Wisley, the RHS gardens, with my MX loaded with Ektar, and my K30, K50 macro and K85. Shot a whole roll. I was thinking “that’s a lot of cameras” until I read K85!

The weather here today has been so HOT!!!
I retreted to the bathroom and cut my beard, with a bit of luck there won't be a white line where I've chopped it back.
The hair isn't a problem, I do have a good head of the affor mentioned and had it cropped short just before lock down, so no problems.
Saltaire brewery delivered this morning, 2 new beers to try so...
