If it's bigger inside than outside, must it be compensated by something else in the universe being smaller inside than it seems from the outside? If so, it's stolen some of the inside of my garage!

Beer will be arriving on the doorstep next week, direct from the Piddle Brewery. Dorset Rogue, Coal Porter, Cocky and, of course, Piddle. A bulk order to be shared with a few elderly friends who are having withdrawal symptoms. No different to doing their shopping for them in Tescos and including a few bottles (OK, a case...) in their order. Leave on the doorstep, of course.

The brewery says they are very busy. I can't imagine why...

If you live in the Tadcaster area, Sam Smith's brewery is doing door-to-door home deliveries - using their team of Shire Horses : https://www.msn.com/en-gb/foodanddrink/other/coronavirus-pub-closures-shire-hors...
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

If I lived down your way Steve, I'd be begging Hall & Woodhouse to do a delivery or two - I love the Badger beers range, and a Pint of Tanglefoot on draught is the closest thing to heaven I've experienced

It's amazing what you find outside the door during lockdown. Q + 01, 1/1600 at f5.6, ISO 250 - but who cares???

You have good taste! Up there with draught Old Peculiar. I don't think Mrs L would let me have a cask in the house, though, so it's got to be bottles.

Might get something for the garden too, with the beer...

Hmmm - Yes, I like a Fursty Ferrit too (along with most of the Badger range), but I prefer it from a bottle over a can (and on tap over bottle - just to get the pecking order straight!) there does seem to be a difference in taste - anyone know what I mean, or is it just me :

Old Peculiar on tap, heaven!

But the recipe was changed when Theakstons was a 'corporate' brewer, still tastes the same, ABV is lower and the hangovers less severe..

Order placed Saltaire Brewery for 'essential' supplies.

I think we're going to need more beer. Lockdown extended until May 20th at least
That said His Nibs hasn't heard about collecting the stuff he's already ordered .

BBQ tomorrow i think. I am sick of weeding all the time.

Same here! But instead of being sick with weeding I'm sick of work and unrealistic expectations versus the reality that most companies are working on reduced staff.

OH is NHS, too, so lockdown has barely affected us (ergo, she deserves a tasty BBQ)!

https://lotusgrill.co.uk/grills/LGR-G-STD - had a defunct one of these kicking around in work. Asked if anyone needed it. 'No, it doesn't work' was the answer. Fixed (blades on the fan were a little squiff) so all ticketyboo now. Looking forward to trying it out.

I work from home anyway so not much changed, and should have retired years ago. That isn’t going to happen for a while but have decided to just work mornings, I tried over the last week and it’s working out so far. I get to spend the afternoon on a walk or in the garden without feeling I should be on the computer so a much better balance whilst still earning a crust. And I don’t feel bad about a drink of pop in the middle of the afternoon!
