Snow! Now that's a thought. A sharp fall would stop the unauthorised sun-bathing and fair-weather exercising. Not too late for it, even Dorset has had a fall in late April. Bring it on!!!!

My brother had a red Renault 4, nicknamed the Oxo Tin. Years later I had a red Renault Kangoo, to carry the dogs. I didn't like the Renault garage but I quite liked the car, though I probably wouldn't buy a French car again.
I hated my Mini, I thought I would love it, but I didn't.
Cars have grown enormous haven't they? You wonder how we ever all fit in to the ones our Dad's drove when we were kids.

I don't want any snow thankyou. It is an extremely pleasant 16C and sunny today, perfect for further work on the Corona Garden.

My first car was a Renault 8, it was written off when someone coming in the opposite direction tried to overtake a bus with me in the way. I'd done some work on the engine, Weber carbs, exhaust manifold that sort of thing. So the engine was put into another shell and that got me into motor sport doing a local Autocross championship.

To replace the road car I ended up with a Mini Clubman 1275 GT, such fun to drive.

His Nibs has ordered beer from the local brewery . We'll get an email when we can collect it. They would have delivered but a trip out will do him good.
He bought their rescue package which is a crate filled with a selection of their brews, a voucher for more brews, and post lockdown a guided tour of the brewery.

sound s a good deal Gwyn.

I've 40 pints of homebrew maturing and am thinking of ordering a couple of trays from Saltaire Brewery again.

I can brew bitters but Blonds and IPAs are a no go.

Cheers.

Beer will be arriving on the doorstep next week, direct from the Piddle Brewery. Dorset Rogue, Coal Porter, Cocky and, of course, Piddle. A bulk order to be shared with a few elderly friends who are having withdrawal symptoms. No different to doing their shopping for them in Tescos and including a few bottles (OK, a case...) in their order. Leave on the doorstep, of course.

The brewery says they are very busy. I can't imagine why...

His Nibs seems to have given up on the home brew. Not sure why, it was one of his arguments for buying this house - a room for the home brew without it being in the way all the time.

His crate consists of The Captain's Daughter - an Amber Ale, Dokwerker - Baltic Porter, Us Ale - an IPA, and Wad Weizen - a German style wheat beer. All excellent from our experience. The brewery is Brouwdok, as it is in an old warehouse on one of the docks. They've invested a lot in doing the place up so I hope they survive this. I shall be nagging him to buy more as time goes on.

A studio for yourself perhaps?

Sadly no, he has taken over the room that could have been a studio for me as a (music) studio for him.
I've got the tiny spare room again .

And is it bigger inside than it looks from outside?
