Records, my 29 year old son has a collection of classic 33rpm LPs, but until recently no record player!

Asked why he said that he'd get one eventually. He actually inherited a 1960s Hacker deck and seperate amp/speaker...

...the sound is fantastic and he's now enjoying the likes of Pink Floyd, Thin Lizzy and of course Led Zeplin in full stereo.

On a different point, I went out for a drink with my ex-works team leader. It was the first time in this particular pub for both of us, we won the quiz. and prize draw!

I think we'll get banned if we try to go back...
Cheers, HG

Just started raining. Until now nothing but sun and no midges, even at the overnight permit parking on the shores of Loch Lomond.
Roads are busy and there are kids everywhere. I thought half term was the week after the bank holiday!
We Britstopped for the first time ever on the way up and hit gold with a wonderful friendly pub. Normally they would have parked us on the petanque pitch, but there was a match that evening, so we were put up at the top of the garden next to an old barn. Even had electricity.
Not much photography happening though .

We have had some truly terrible weather, which has rather put a damper on the trip.
His Nibs is happy today with a Britstop at a Distillery. He got my samples from the tour as well and will be enjoying them this evening. They have little plastic pots for you to take it away if you are driving.
Lined up on the table like a collection of a very different sort of sample

That must be the colour then, a little off putting...

And the Euro results are starting to be announced, I'm off to bed with a good book and a 'sample'...

You know all that safety stuff you have to carry in cars in France - hi-viz jacket and so on - do you have to carry equivalent stuff on motorbikes?
SteveH!

Some people call me 'strange'.
I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

Have a great trip HG.
We are heading home as soon as we can change the ferry tickets
The sun is shining now and we are enjoying the Vineyard Britstop, and watching the red kites, but we have had enough.
Staying with his sister in Kent for a couple of nights until we hear back from camper club about changing the booking.

Yes, it has to be accesable from the driving seat, that'll be really hard

As for 'little jobs', the list was there... somewhere...

Have a safe trip home Gwyn
