I thought it was the one with the sore head after drinking all that stuff you were talking about.
It is the same here, a few years ago the was Heineken, Grolsch and a few others, most of which have been swallowed up by the biggies, but there are so many good small breweries here now, making not only lager (in fact rarely lager) but great IPA's, blondes, boks and stouts.

You can turn off predictive text you know

Ah, BOK.

Brings back fond memories of Frankfurt where I discovered the dark BOK beer.

It was still on sale in the late 70's.

There's a bottle of it on ebay for £29.99

Does that include a bear steak burger "to go"?
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

And Morrison's have Edinburgh Rhubarb Gin in at a good price, so I'm told

A sipping gin that goes well with a good tonic, Fevertree perhaps?

Unfortunately I'm on Hobgoblin at the moment...

About 38 years.

I've had her from new, she's been a winter bike, a tourer, a project, but most of all just always there. I thought it was time for a refresh and take her back to her original self.

She's a 1979 Yamaha RD400f.

David, I grew up using Yam 250's, 350's and 400's.

Your 400 is officially part of the family at that age. My R80RT was 30 in April and it's now in my family tree as an adopted daughter (Brunhilda).

The only experience I have is falling off a Tiger Cub. I bought a Renault R8 shortly after.

We currently have our son's bike stored in the back garden. It was going into a shed, but it has a leaky front fork (or something) so it is outside behind the shed until he has the time, inclination and, most importantly, money to fix it. Since he is currently living over 100km away from us, and his only other means of transport is his ship or his bicycle, I think it could be here for some time.

Getting the ferry to somewhere near Newcastle tomorrow night, then heading to Ambleside. Funeral to attend on Friday and back home on the Saturday night ferry.

I'll hopefully have time to find Christmas crackers while I'm there.

I'm sorry, it's not the best of reasons for a trip. Somewhere near Newcastle, might be North Shields? There is an outlet shopping park called Royal Quays, might have your crackers, or there is a Garden center in Ambleside. It's not impossible they are already set up for Xmas given the preparations I've seen in other stores!!!
