Didn't know about the Durham Regatta Barrie.

That said, I didn't know that the Raptor Fair is on this weekend at Duncomb Park until I saw the posters around Helmsley yesterday. Just pondering if I should go back today??????

The start-up screed of PSE-11 shows a person holding a TLR as if to take a picture.

But the viewing hood is closed. Which strikes me as a bit pointless.

On a related issue, the camera in question has its name etc removed to 'anonymise' it. All the cameras in the Amateur Photographer Insurance Services ads do too, except for the Pentax that's half buried in the sand. Paranoia time?

I prefer 'unconventional'.
But I'm willing to compromise and accept 'eccentric'.

Just spent the morning at Biggin Hill watching my brother-in-law celebrate his 80th birthday with a Spitfire flight. He was supposed to go up yesterday, but the rain was bad so we got up at 5 am to get there for his flight at 8.
If any photos are any good I may post a couple, I am not an aeroplane photographer!
