Big slice of humble pie here, and all kudos to the passport office. Our new passports arrived today. I assume they will also send the old ones back at some point. I hope so.
Now to get our sons to renew theirs.

I'm having a bad week and to top it off after a week and a half the engineer turns up to our new and faulty dishwasher which smells like burning tyres when used doesn't hang around to let it do its thing and suggests it might smell because it is new then after ringing the manufacturer and demanding that they remove it and provide a refund my better half gave me an earful for asking why they bother to send an engineer who can't be bothered hanging around to witness the fault let alone actually try to fix it
How dare I question this

BEERDAY!!!
Now I have your attention, we're of out tonight, something unusual!
Normally it's a night in and chill with beer and delivered curry, but tonight it's down to 'The Fox', meet some friends and then off to a restaurant to eat. Must be the week off work with a duff eye, but I'm looking forward to this evening...
