And today's problem..

...lost car keys!

Tried the spare and got locked out of everything, now waiting for the AA man to arrive.

I like modern cars, they're theft proof. And owner proof, bugger!

The nice man from the AA sorted things out, we now have 2 working cars again.

After the hectic morning, an afternoon and evening at work guess what I need..

...and it's next to the computer..

...ah sweet nectar of life!

Cheers!

A bit of success in the St Bartholomews Fayre including winning the Thewlis Cup for Best Overall image. Two entries in the WW1 section were taken using a Panasonic Compact and achieved 1st and 2nd place so can't be shown here. Other images, which were awarded a 1st and a 3rd have been in the gallery. Total prize money £4.25 which as usual I'll be donating to church funds.

Yes, Barrie, but it mentions another camera make and I thought I'd get away with that here The cup winning entry was taken with a Pentax.

Woo hoo - whilst busy removing then replacing the plaster in my sons bedroom on Saturday (a job I have been putting off for about a year) my copy of the book 'Extraordinary Villages' arrived

No great shakes but it is my first photo published, that is if you discount one used by Visit Wales on their website

Just googled it and found that the publisher had run a competition for images to use, however, mine was found by them and invited to be included - I had no idea that they wanted any

I now have a book I can get out when I want visitors to leave (much the same use as the holiday pic slide shows of the seventies :lol

It seems to be a pretty good book judging by the parts I have read so far but promising to show people your photo's does make them want to get home in time to watch something on tv
