Only a '58 vintage here Cedric.

As for the '79 vintage Yamaha, got the electrics sort of sorted. The only thing I'm struggling with are the indicators which aren't needed for an MOT so...

...they may come off until I figure out how to fix them.

Do I sound cynical JR, or is Pentax showing signs of corporate cynicism?
Either way who cares what I think and I can rest assured that Pentax certainly won't, not as long as they have a healthy percentage of gullible punters purchasing their 'most newest and shiniest' photographic techno-bling.

That might indicate a problem...and one that can't be addressed if you have blinkered vision. I had a similar problem and took it to a guy who said he worked as an auto electrician off and on, but ultimately didn't know which way to turn with it...

Your first problem is that you're dealing with a Yam of any kind, let alone a feckin' vintage example. I hear they were first trying to sort Yamaha electrics (amongst other things) towards the end of the Cretaceous period
Jokes aside and assuming that you basically know your way around a mo'sickle Bro, have you tested and or replaced the indicator relay?

Yep, done all that A, looks like a lack of power to the circuit.

That's a bit of a problem as it could be anywhere in the (ancient and fragile) loom!

Still, spent the morning sorting out the rear brake which now works, even if it does need the air bleeding from the system.

Back of topic..

...beer, Adnams and Friday = Curry time!!!
