Talking of Bullets, I`ve got to amuse myself tomorrow so it could be a ride through the lanes on the old Enfield as Mrs Cedric is working.

Drat , double drat and botheration,
Just pulled out my baby cabin case [ satisfies Aer Arann ] and threw in a couple of things I'll be taking to Dublin later this month and now I need to look for a new one !! Zip demised
Wouldn't mind too much - but getting a new little one now at the height of the holiday season ?? That's going to be FUN - not

Took the Enfield out and about the lanes from Ipswich to Felixstowe area today. Was sorting out a new circular cycle route for next year. Mrs Cedric heads up a local charity and an annual cycle ride is a good way of bringing in some dosh. Several old boys had a good look when i throttled up past the local golf course. A 500 single with a sports exhaust blatting along an open lane is awesome sounding. "They don`t make em like they used to."

Brother-in-law had an Enfield Bullet, many moons ago, I forget how many cam shafts I replaced for him, it was that many, in the end all I had to do was whistle and they would change themselves. But yes what a great sound when it was running.
Ah, Castrol R, used to burn that together with Clevland Discol petrol in my engine, when I was Kart racing back in the 1960’s, a long time ago, but can still recall the smell. It should be made into an after shave.
Cleveland Discol petrol had a high methanol content, and was not approved by the ACU, for motorcycle racing, but Kart racing was governed my the RAC and it was approved by them.
Above all pointless information.
Take care.

Might have made in a curry shop but it`s the only one in the world that`s been in continuous production since Noah was planning the ark. And! I can fiddle around with it and fix it for hardly any exchange of drinking tokens. It`s a shame the later ones have lean burn engines and fuel injection `cos you can`t fiddle around much. Best thing though is the sound, big fistful of throttle in first and second in a narrow village street and the noise is wicked. Not had any probs apart from a stuffed battery and a few failed lamps but that would be expected on any 10 year old bike.

It's into the hut and hit electrics time..
.........can't get the hammer to work on them for some reason!
