no phone or internet access since Saturday. Liz spoke to someone in Bombay or somewhere, on her mobile , and was told there is a fault. May take a few days to sort out but we can monitor the situation online
Have temporary access thanks to a kind neighbour giving me wifi access

Getting a tad concerned - and I know it's a trifle early for this.

Flying out to Dublin again later in August - taking cabin bag only [ Aer Lingus Regional so smaller than for other flights ] My tiny case does very nicely for a weekend - can cope with cooler weather too BUT if it's still summer this is pushing it for getting lightweight clothes in - lots of thin shirts and skirts instead of just a couple of pairs of trousers and a few shirts . A five day stay is a tad different from a 2 night one.

I can see this is going to be a very last minute packing job - good job the camera bag is just pick up and go .

I agree, if it gets too warm you could always ask them to open a window

Have you noticed that the more pointless your life feels, the less you can contribute to this thread?

Yes.

Tip: do not use a steam cleaner when it is hot weather. Worse than being in a Turkish bath!!!

As part of keeping my mind off things I decided to deep clean the bathroom. Big, sweaty mistake.
