Worth keeping an eye on Amazon this week - they are having a week of special deals. I managed to grab Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 for £22.99. But these deals only last for probably less than a minute before the allocated stock is sold out. You can see what is coming up in the next few hours and when the start time is, but I repeat that you have to be quick. Possibly useful for Christmas presents.

I got one. I clicked as soon as it started and sat in a queue watching them disappear. So I opened a fresh window and tried again and instantly won it. Weird.

I added a book to the order to get my free postage from Amazon. It means I won't get it all for a week or two, but it's on it's way.

No problem - I am glad that some forum members managed to get hold of it, rather than some of those on the Amazon site, who seem to being trying to buy just to sell on at a profit

Ok. Thanks for the information. I looked at Adobe previously and it says Vista and 7 while other sources said ok. But glad to have it confirmed.

Oh, and thanks for the tip. It will cost me! I also have a number of books in my basket now + the definitive macro dvd, Microcosmos - saw it years ago and remember it as crazy cool.

You needed to look on the Black Friday Deals on the Amazon home page. But... That's over now

I got a copy. You had to follow the link to the black Friday deals. There was a kind of countdown clock. There were still copies about 15 mins after the deal started but I think they will be gone now .

Thanks for the heads up though. I have resisted buying Photoshop elements and use GIMP but at that price it was too good to miss.

You will only prise my 43Ltd from my cold, dead hands...

I was surprised to see how slow they (Elements) were being sold last night I thought they would be all gone within a minute.
