If it were a Pentax spanner, it would stop at 13mm and you would need a Sigma spanner or a Pentax spannerconverter to undo 17 and 19mm nuts.

I'm surprised at Matt buying a spanner that needs batteries to work, when he always buys Pentax mechanical cameras that can work without batteries

That would be why it also has a mechanical over-ride in the conventional adjustable spanner way...
Not leaving it in the car anyway, adjustable spanners just round nuts off when used on vehicles.

Mine arrived yesterday and it says on the box that it works with XP, as well as Vista and 7.
