Phew... That was scary

I've had the same happen to me a couple of times. Found that by re-mounting the lens I got it unstuck.
I have four genuine adapters and only one gives any problem. I now use that one permanently mounted to a lens I don't use too often and it works fine. Seems the machining of these adapters can vary a little causing distortion and thus jamming.

I tried re-mounting the lens, to no avail. Brute force did the tricks and luckily didn't destroy anything.

When I read this thread title, I thought that was your reaction on having just left London!

My very first post on here was the day I got my DS, took it out of the box and put my 500mm Tamron on it which refused to come off(It wasn't that cold Fatspider).
I think the iris lever had become misaligned which had never been noticed since the 500 has no iris. I eventually summoned up the courage to use brute force but I was in a cold sweat.

I'm going to London in a week, I don't want to photograph everything with a 70-210mm (my only A2 lens).
Was what I thought when my adaptall-2 adapter would not come off my K10D.
I had heard of M42 adapters getting stuck, but never A2.
I had to make a lot of force to get it to come off, it was clearly the locking pin that was stuck.
