Nice and sharp, good exposure, good 3/4 view. Excellent if you are interested in planes. Less exciting if you aren't!

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

I can't believe they named a plane after Jo Whiley!

Radio 1 DJ, weekdays from 10am - 12.45pm, after Chris Moyles, and this is why they named the plane after her;

It's a station on the radio

A radio is a box with little people inside who produce whatever music you like

Ooops, sorry I forgot to comment on the picture

Yes nice and sharp and well framed. You must have been on the runway to get that close

What airport is it?

I used to work at Heathrow when I lived in West London and I worked for a naff security company, blimey they were awful. The good thing about it was that we could drive around airside and go on any BA plane that was on a stand. My favourite, of course, was Concorde. I've been on all of them and Air France's ones, unfortunately I never actually flew on them
I just wished that I could have taken a camera with me as I would have had a great opportunity to capture some fantastic images.
Loved it when we watched Concorde take off. It made the runway vibrate and the noise was incredible

At least I have those memories....

Edit: cor my spelling is really bad sometimes

Nice and sharp image, nicely exposed, good shot . I like the way that you've got just enough sky at the top of the frame with the dramatic background.
