I like the scruffy little Blue Tit in number 5, nicely focused and exposed.
The older I get the faster I was.

These aren't half bad so go buy the 500mm forget the camo suit though, birds can see you miles away camo or not
I'm with David, the last shot is the best of the bunch, I just hope your getting commission from Doric.

You should sell No.5 to "Doric Signs" as I am sure they will use it for advertising!
If this isn't your thing, shooting wildlife, then I would say you should be proud of all of them! Especially using a 70-200mm.
I would be
Well done

There's quite a bit of purple in the first two.... is this the APO f/2.8 lens? It might be just the wrong White Balance, try converting the RAW file using shade to see if it's any better. The heron feathers should be grey. Water causes enormous problems.

Thanks all, I purposely left #5 til last as it's obviously the best of the bunch.
Shim, WB was a bit of a nightmare as there was a mixture of direct sunlight, cloud, & leaf canopy to deal with. Processing as shade wasn't helping. I may be able to sort it by spending a little time in getting a manual WB adj right.
