Thanks everyone! I really have missed you all. It feels good to be back. Hopefully I'll be showing off photos taken with my new (secondhand) 60-250 soon. I should be able to pick it up on Wednesday with a bit of luck. Now I'm off to catch up on everything here :D.

Hi from Idaho, my name is Stephan Peters, I was born and raised in Germany and now live in beautiful Idaho. This is my first forum, because I'm new to computers too. I own this computer for two month now and I'm still learning how to use it. I've been strictly shooting film until about a year ago...

Hello
Hello Beth and welcome to the forum from someone who's just as new to the forum as you are. About your spiderweb - you should start looking for your spiderweb at the time of sunrise when they are still dew-covered. Shoot them from a low angle against the backlight of the sunrise, preferably again...

Hi from a complete novice with a k10d needs lessons
Welcome to the forum Michele, ChrisA said it all. As someone who is still finding his way in photography this site has been amazingly helpful, a credit to its members, don't be shy, get some pictures uploaded and ask for feed back. Search on some of the photo sharing sites like and for pictures ...

Hi from a complete novice with a k10d needs lessons
Hi shhhs - welcome ---- as most say - play with your camera and enjoy - at least you don`t have to wait for the photos to come back from the processor as I did in 1991 when I got the Spotmatic 1000 ! Picassa 3 is great - even an old Chef like me can use it ! Any problems we are always here.......
