Hi again!
welcome back how long have you been with Pentax James Thanks! Have only been really INTO Pentax, or photography for that matter, in the last year and a half or so. Now with the K7 I feel there are no limits! Except, better lenses! ;-)

YANM (Yet Another New Member)
Hello, I'm new to the forum but not to photography. I figure I'd join up as I've moved from Canon to Pentax back in December and am finding my old forum to be a lonely place for a Pentaxian. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute a little to this place.

New to the forum, wanted to say hi
Hiya All, My wife and I have had a K10d for a few years, but only had a sigma 18-200mm zoom lens on it, and it never really grabbed me. I got to thinking that maybe it wasn't the camera I disliked, but rather the lens. Well now, I did a very quick impulse buy from the bay of a 50mm Auto Chino...

New to the forum, wanted to say hi
Welcome. If you have half as much fun and learn a tenth as much as I have then...well, you know what I mean. You've chosen very well. This site ticks all the right boxes. Pentax people are the nicest people! Best wishes, Andrew P.S. Oh dear. I see there's no point in warning you about th...

Greetings from Brooklyn
Hi! I am new to digital SLR photography and for my first camera decided to purchase the Pentax K-x. I am so happy with my decision! The K-x is a perfect beginners camera, and is actually very fully featured. I have been busy taking pictures every day, . I also decided that I wanted to give back to...

Welcome to the fora. I recognise that shot from Dumbo, I was in January. I'm across the river at the moment but will be heading back across the pond tomorrow. K.

Pentax Z1 35mm camera
The alternative would be to hang onto it, get some slide film (Boots still sell it) and get back into film over the summer. If home developing black and white appeals then look up the thread about Rondinax daylight developing tanks - armed with one of those and a negative scanner you don't need a da...

Darryl
Hi all. Just thought i'd do the right thing and introduce myself here before stuffing the forum full of questions and possibly even some answers too. I'm a self-employed hypnotherapist who enjoys nothing more than slinging my trusty LX with it's immovable 50mm 1.2 over my shoulder, stuffing some ...

Darryl
Hello all, Thanks for your warm welcome. I look forward to reviving my LX once it's back from being CLA'd. If you see someone lying on a grassy field, pointing a load of kit at small insects and flowers, that'll be me and my macro. Regards, Darryl

Hi from eclectic gear chap in Sheffield
I've just joined myself after sitting on the fence and reading comments about optics quality on here. It seems to me that it's a bit of a lottery with these zoom lenses. I had a 16-50mm f/2.8 for a while, but returned it after shooting a test chart of a map and found that my £29 Mk II 18-55mm lens ...
